2nd Day Blues
Well its that good ol second day of work. Things are going ok so far I like my gig. We were told to come in at 12 noon and I was the first to arrive upon my arrival I noticed no one was there and the doors were still locked. Immediately I called my Chef and he came right up, we started prep cooking getting things in order; next thing we know its 4pm and service starts in an hour. Still there was no one here no Owners,Servers,Bartenders, etc "I mean no one". We get a call from the owners stating that service doesnt start til 9pm thats when all hell broke loose , we were all so upset, but we chlled out for awhile. Suddenly the Sous Chef walked out and didnt return, so at that point we were out a dishwasher and sous chef. Wow but we made it through the night the downfall was we didnt get off till 2am.
